Synopsis de Bajazet

While Amurat, the sultan of the Ottoman Empire, wages war against the Persians in the distance, his favorite, Roxane, has full authority over the seraglio. Secretly in love with Bajazet, the Sultan's brother, she offers to bring him to power on the condition that he marries her, otherwise he will perish. And Bajazet has no other choice than to betray Atalide, whom he loves, or to go to his death.
